Most women treasure exquisite, versatile and easy care hair styles which has made Kim B. one of the most sought after hair designers in the hair care industry. In addition, for over 15 years she has exclusively been the personal hairstylist of one of the biggest entertainers in the world, PRINCE, which makes her solely responsible for his flawless hair on every photo shoot, video and tour including "The Musicology Tour" and most recently the Super Bowl XLI half-time show.At the age of only 17 after graduating high school, Kim was wandering through the Crenshaw District in South Central Los Angeles tryng to figure out what would be her next move before attending a four year university. She stumbled upon a place that would change her life, Pacific Beauty College. While attending, she entered a major student competition which tested her techniques against those of over 200 other students and placed first. This was just the beginning of the buzz that would follow her because of her hair artistry. After graduating from beauty college at the top of her class, she immediately began to immerse herself in the hair industry, learning everything she could about the latest styles and techniques. After 5 years of making herself a local name to be noticed in the Greater Los Angeles & Hollywood, she was introduced to an opportunity to step in and work for then known as "The Artist Formerly Known As..." and the rest is history. She has also added her magic on the video sets of other musical artist like Monica, Floetry, and Outkast to name a few. Although her work has been featured in dozens of magazines she is in the constant pursuit of creating the next great look and improving what is already "in"and set trends.
